Next up, the peaks of the Aneto, a spectacular glacier in the Autonomous Region of Huesca west of Catalonia. Off we went to escape the suffocating heat of the city, and little did we know, that a beautiful trail through the valley, waterfalls, and rocky hills would lead us up to an amazing prarie with a network of rivers at the foot of the Aneto Glacier in the distance.
We stayed at Camping Aneto , super cheap and really well loccated.
Another treat was the chairlifts of the nearest ski slopes which in the summertime tunr into visits of flora and fauna along the peaks.
🍃 TIP: do the trail in the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park really early in the morning before sun up, its beautiful. Bring lots of water, and keep an eye out for groundhogs popping out their heads to give you the latest weather report.
