Camping & Rafting at La Guingueta

So after having tried rafting the first time I came to Barcelona it was time to try it with Himself.

We chose to stay at camping La Guingeta our favourite spot as it was near the RocRoi rafting centre. These guys are professional and friendly and the guides are great fun.

The river was incredible! the perfect combination of fun and thrilling. We navigated the "Chuck Norris" rapid and flipped over a couple of times but for the most time we were able to enjoy the beautiful ride.

The campsite is right next to a lake which you can go for a walk around or cycle around. We brought our bikes and went for a cycle around the lake and up a trail into the woods which took us to a few lovely ponds.

Then it was back to the campsite to rest and have some proteins.

๐ŸƒTIP: if you are looking for stong rapids go may/june as that is when there is the strongest flow from the snow melting on the peaks. Otherwise July/August is the time to go if you are looking for something more gentle.
